Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule
The official list below shows time slots reserved not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your instructor whether or not the final exam for the course will be conducted during this time.

Locations
The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please refer to the exam pages for more information on exam content, exam rules and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you need special accommodations due to chronic illness, visual or hearing impairment or other limitations Contact the exam center and provide a detailed documents when you register.
Faculty may find their exam times through the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for the classes that must be tested under NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class meeting times of the final examination weeks.
Please note that the Projected University Examination Schedule is intended as a rough guideline and that the dates for the final exam are subject to change.
Registration
Students are encouraged to look up the exam schedule online. It is important to note that the schedule for exams may change at any moment. Students should therefore consult their instructors for the correct time and date of their exam. Students should also print out the official list of questions to bring to their exam.
In addition to the exam schedule, students should also familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines, the terms and conditions. They are available on the individual exam page. Students acknowledge having read and agree to the conditions and terms of registration.
Exam locations will do their best to accommodate participants who have special needs. The nature and the extent of these needs should be declared on the registration and confirmed by a physician's attestation. The locations for the exam must be able to respect confidentiality and keep it.
If prowadzenie skutera is scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they should contact their department or instructor to schedule a make-up test. It is possible to have three examinations on the same day. However, this could result in a lot of stress and impact the quality of the exam. In addition, the professor may not be able to give a makeup exam on another day.
Before taking the exam students must prepare by reviewing their syllabus and practice their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that tests your ability to read and write German. The test results are presented using a scale ranging from A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam are awarded an Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has achieved language level A1. This level corresponds to the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The examination is free of charge. Students should bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. Students who do not have a valid picture identification will be disqualified.
Fees
You must pay an examination fee if you wish to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This fee is in addition to the course fees.
Practice assessments give you an overview of the format of the questions, their wording and the level of questions on the test. They can help you evaluate your knowledge, identify gaps and improve your chances of passing the test.
Please take note that the fee for exams is non-refundable. Exam results can only be sent via email and not by phone.
